Science communication serves the goals of achieving “peaking of emissions” and “carbon neutrality”
Zhejiang launched an action program to communicate knowledge about “peaking of emissions” and “carbon neutrality” earlier this year, and Hangzhou set up a service team to fulfill targets of the program.
8 organizers including ZAST jointly initiated serial lectures of academicians under the program of “Zhijiang Forum”. The initiators also established expert groups and carried out exhibition tours to better communicate carbon knowledge. Featured activities were reported on media platforms to increase social influences.
The initiators contributed a featured science fair program to celebrate the 2021 National Science Popularization Day.
The fair was composed of 5 sections focusing on different perspectives of carbon knowledge including origin of carbon, future of carbon, test space of carbon, low carbon and my life and play carbon workshop.
